THE CONSTRUCTIVISTS CONTINUE SEASON
WITH THE SINFULNESS OF THE HOLIDAYS

A Very Deadly Constructivists Holiday (2025) delivers an all-new assortment of scenes, sketches, parodies, musical moments, and holiday chaos that only The Constructivists can conjure.

Wednesday, November 19, 2025 (Milwaukee, WI)– The Constructivists proudly announce the return of their dark holiday comedy A Very Deadly Constructivists Holiday, running December 18–20, 2025 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 PM) at the Studio Theatre in the Broadway Theatre Center (158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee, WI).

Back for its third year, this Milwaukee-grown holiday tradition dives headfirst into the seven deadly sins with The Constructivists’ signature blend of biting humor, theatrical physicality, and cathartic irreverence. Conceived and directed by Artistic Director Jaimelyn Gray and written by Patrick Schmitz with various contributing artists, A Very Deadly Constructivists Holiday (2025) delivers an all-new assortment of scenes, sketches, parodies, musical moments, and holiday chaos that only The Constructivists can conjure.

Cast and Creative Team

The 2025 production features a delightful creative team of company and returning artists, including Sarah Harris as Set Designer and Les Zarzecki leading Set Construction, with Lighting Design by Ellie Rabinowitz, Costume Design by Vee Delgado, and Sound Design by Martilia Marechal. Laura Sturm serves as the Intimacy Choreographer, and Nicole Magnusson provides Violence Choreography. The production is stage managed once again by Mia Palmer.

This year’s ensemble includes Autumn N. Green as Sloth, Becky Cofta as Greed, Ekene Ikegwuani as Lust, Kellie Wambold as Pride, Libby Ladue as Gluttony, Logan Milway as Envy, and Nate Press as Wrath. Rounding out the cast are Nicole McCarty as the Ghost of Musical Past and William Molitor as the Ghost of St. Nick. The swings for the production are Phillip Steenbekkers and Caitlin Nettesheim.

A Darkly Festive Experience

Embracing an anthology-style structure, this year’s show blends satire, musical parody, physical comedy, and theatrical boldness into a fast-paced, wickedly delightful holiday offering. The production examines the contradictions of the season—joy and dread, indulgence and restraint, nostalgia and chaos—through a sharply humorous lens.

“Each year we dedicate a fresh Deadly Holiday version that feels like it lives in the now,” says Artistic Director Jaimelyn Gray. “This version feels especially cathartic. It’s a celebration of humanity in all its contradictions, wrapped in tinsel, sin, spectacle, and a little bit of wrath.”
