In our Under Construction Play Development Series, we pair playwrights with directors and actors for a process that culminates in a live reading with an audience. On the mainstage, we strive to offer our patrons the type of play that goes for the gut, makes you question who you are, and embraces new and diverse perspectives. Our Under Construction series is no different. We welcome your kitchen-sink drama, your woman-versus-the-institution play, or your dark, gritty futurist romance—as long as your piece is visceral, meant for a mature audience, and relevant to the Average Jane, please submit.
